“Who’s making the logo?” I asked the art director.
“The publisher makes the logo.”
“Well, it looks weird without one. Can I make a temporary logo until they send us the official one?”
“Sure, knock yourself out." I turned to walk back to my desk and he interrupted me. "Do it on your own time. And don’t get too attached, it’s not going to stay. The publisher always makes the logo.”
That weekend, I started drawing.
The publisher didn't end up giving us a logo. But you already knew that.
